How to use DORIS:

Select the Topic and / or Intervention which interests you from the left-hand search boxes.

You may download the lists of Topic and Intervention options by clicking on the

buttons.

When you select a Topic or Intervention a number of sublevel options may be given. You do not have to use these. Whether or not you want to use the sublevels will depend on how specific your research question is.

Click on

to start the search.

Choose the Option for the type of evidence you wish to see.

DORIS will then give you a list of Options for viewing Existing Evidence, Ongoing Research or Treatment Uncertainties.

The number of results i.e. number of guidelines/ Cochrane reviews / other systematic reviews etc) is given in brackets.

Click on

to view the evidence.

To see another type of evidence, change your choice in the Options menu and click on the orange askDORIS button again.

To search for another Topic and/or Intervention click on 'search another Topic' or hit the DORIS logo to return to the home page and start again.
