All the information on DORIS is categorised using a TOPIC and an INTERVENTION hierarchy.

You can browse these hierarchies to select the TOPIC and / or INTERVENTION that you are interested in.

| When you have selected a topic or intervention, you can further narrow your selection by selecting from the available sub-levels from the hierarchies.

The topic & intervention hierarchies have been developed by the Cochrane Stroke Group specifically for the categorisation of randomised controlled trials relating to stroke.
Maintaining these hierarchies when new interventions and stroke services are being continually developed is a challenging task. Due to changes in clinical practice and terminology
there are always areas of the hierarchy which will benefit from updating and improvement. However re-categorising all the information stored within sections of these hierarchies can
be a lengthy task. We are aware that some areas of the hierarchy could be improved. However, by familiarising yourself with the current structure we hope that you will easily find the information that you are looking for.
If you have any doubts about which intervention sublevel to select then why not try just selecting the top level - that way you will get all the sublevels in your results. |
